Oh, Here He Comes! He's a Left Fielder....For Now (First Pics of Astros Spring Training 2015)

Do you like what I did there with the Hall and Oates reference, readers? Stick around, I have plenty of them to give with my writer's ability to turn a phrase.

Anyways, today's post is about the first pics released of the Houston Astros Spring Training. And while position players are not required to report for another 48 hrs, your people's champion and mine, Evan Gattis, is already there, along with many others setting themselves up to be contenders in the 2015 MLB regular season. One thing is for sure, the best part about Evan is his tenacity, fortitude, and heart and soul he puts into this game that makes it just that more enjoyable to watch unfold.

Here are some pics taken so far during training down at Osceola County Stadium. (Quite close to where my mom lives, I might add!) I may have mentioned before, but orange has always been my favorite color, and since Evan is now sporting it, he is sporting it well! Credits and Shout Outs to the Houston Chronicle and their Ultimate Astros blog for these pics. Many more to come, I'm sure of it. And another shout out to Climbing Tal's Hill and Eric Huysman for using a tweet of mine in their latest Gattis article. Stay tuned to The White Bear Chronicles for all the Spring Training 2015 coverage!
