"The Rally Bear" At Work + Support for Texas
The Houston Astros eventually lost yesterday's game and series to the Baltimore Orioles. But not before THIS happened!:

It's a thing of beauty when Gattis is on duty....to rally the team with his awesome power, that is! And it's not the first time. He's done it a couple of times for the Astros this season, and many times as a Brave over the past two. What's even more humbling is reading and hearing comments when he gives support to his other teammates and coaches around him.
This is the real Evan Gattis, folks. This is why I've called him the real People's Champion on so many occasions. Because that is truly what he is! He is both humbling and hard working. I have all of these writings on him because the world should know just how much better the game of baseball, and even this world, is now that he is around to electrify and intensify these games for players and fans alike. To give the people someone to root for, not just for his back story, but for what his presence really does for all of us that continue to cheer for him.
Think I'm finished talking about how wonderful El Oso Blanco really is? THINK AGAIN!!!!:

I don't know about you readers, but I think I should help Evan write his memoirs someday. Wouldn't THAT be a hell of a gig?! I think so!
On a more sadder note, The Houston Astros must not be feeling good about what awaits them when they return home tomorrow to face the Chicago White Sox on Friday. The floods and tornadoes all over the state of Texas recently have claimed so many lives in the surrounding areas of so many of the big cities, including Houston.
