Finally, Some Love Oso Blanco's Way!

While on the main Braves message board on MLB.com, I found some comments that warmed my heart to almost its fullest:

At this point it makes no sense to trade Gattis. He can serve as a backup 1B and catcher, and he's cheap. His trade value will only increase as he hits more and more home runs. In light of the action taken on Jason Heyward, trading Justin has to happen. The front office has to understand that no one wants Justin bad enough to take his brother lol NO ONE. We're stuck with BJ for another year or two.

Then, this one made me grin so big:
The case for keeping Gattis: He is a major league power hitter that can hit 20-35 HR's. He doesn't cost the Braves much at 600K for next year. He can catch or play LF or pitch hit and even a good bench player will cost much more in todays market.
Freeman will need protection in the lineup if/when Justin Upton is traded and what will the Braves have to pay for another power hitter?
Gattis offensive numbers in his 2nd year went up not down like most players indicating he will continue to improve at hitting.
What will the parents say to all their kids that have those adorable bear hats if you trade him? Don't make those ticket buying parents tell there bear hat wearing kids the Braves traded Gattis.
I know that, once again, I and other fans have no say in what will actually transpire. But knowing there are others out there that think and feel the same way I do just proves I am not crazy in suggesting that Evan Gattis be kept on the Atlanta Braves squad for as long as possible. Just hope John Hart makes it happen!

Hmm. So, there are some Braves fans that still like me after all? Cool!
