A Big Meeting Today....

....with free agent ace pitcher, Jon Lester. That's right, the Braves are meeting with him to try and get his veteran presence in the rotation. They have their work cut out for them since the Red Sox have made a substantial offer to him. However, if willing to take a hometown discount, and if John Hart can assure him the team can contend in 2015, the Atlanta Braves just may pull of what is nearly impossible.


The meeting will take place this afternoon. I will, of course, keep you updated on any developments. I'm personally salivating at the notion of a Lester, Miller, Tehran, Wood, Minor starting rotation.

Fingers crossed, Braves fans!

This man can be the veteran presence answer for our starting rotation. Hope the Braves can make it happen. I'm drooling just thinking about Lester in a Braves uniform!
