The "Braves Way" Tug of War
So I became quite excited yesterday evening when I saw this headline....
Braves plan to move Evan Gattis to left field on a full-time basis
John Hart revealed the team's plan to move the former catcher to the outfield.
Even this quote by John Hart perked my collective interests on the subject matter:
“We want to get Evan’s bat in the lineup, and if he catches, he would play just 100 games and we would not have a bat perhaps good enough to hit cleanup for those other games,” Hart said. “So we are going to put Evan in left field and see what we have.”
And then this happened to rain on my parade....
Hart on Gattis to LF: "We have not talked to Evan & have made no final decisions. Are considering many options. Nothing is settled." - David O'Brien on Twiiter
John Hart, either be straightforward with the public, or shut your mouth! Nobody has time for these mind games. Especially, not us Oso Blanco fans!
